A close friend of mine started a new site 2 days ago called blogsvine. It is a really nice site. It is a bit similar to digg and stumble but more enhanced and better than those in some cases. Here, you get a backlink as soon as you sign up your blog, get a lot of traffics right to your site, increase the popularity of your site and also get a share the revenue. Bloggers can get a lot better benefits from this site than other competitive sites as this website gives more enphasise to blogs and blogposts. Instead of digg or stumble, you “vote”. You can see the best voted topics or the most recent topic as per your choice. After reading this post I hope that all of you have a look in my friend’s site to see the most voted and the most recent news, stories and other topics. And don’t forget to make your blog popular by registering in this site.
I had a deal yesterday with Sean. That was a deal with my website dealsinsured.com. What I like about the deal is not the money in the deal, but the way we did it. He looks to me a nice person and I feel happy to be a person who knows him. We contacted each other through email as there was some problem with the network connection in the phone connection. Unlike other deals that I had earlier, we didn’t take much time in the deal and our communication didn’t end just after the deal. He comes straight, and speaks to the point, returns messages straight in a short time, and looks like a great businessman, when it comes to business. Thats what I like. Thats why I am Posting it here. This is the first time I have posted about a deal in my personal website (I didn’t feel like posting any of the earlier deals even though I have got more money earlier in some of the deals). I am hoping that we would do more deals in the near future.
This works, it’s tested simple and easy. You all can see in the settings of blogger that You always have at least one administrator. You can’t short this procedure. You will, of course, have to have both accounts active for some time. Don’t start this if you’ve lost the account name, or forgotten the password, on one of the accounts. But Plan this process with some care.
1. From Settings - Permissions, add a second account, as a blog member.
2. Starting with the email received by the second account, accept membership. Setup a new Google account, if necessary.
3. From Settings - Permissions again, make the new member an administrator.
4. From Settings - Permissions under the new administrator account, remove the old account.
>> (Note): If you’re doing this in preparation to switching your Blogger, GMail, or other email account, do not discontinue the current account until you have executed, and tested, step 3.
Remember, though, that you can only login to one Google account at a time. If you have other abilities setup on the current Google account, you’ll be constantly logging off and onto each account, as you switch back and forth.
If you’re just adding an administrator, not transferring ownership, just leave off step 4.
One major New Blogger shortcoming out of the way.
The next step that you should do after registering a domain name is to host it in a hosting site. There are many hosting sites available which offer both free account and premium account. But so far I have used only a few of them. I used the free account of byethost.com when I first started to have websites. Even though I have used a premium account in other varied websites, the best free account hosting site seems to me to be byethost.com still. Unlike many other free hosting sites, it doesn’t post any advertisement for themselves in your site. That is really a good feature. But hosting in a free hosting site suffers some common problems of server down a bit often. To prevent that you need to have a regular back-up of the database by downloading them regularly. And if you have a very good website which is visited y many people, and contains important critical topics, or use a viral marketing strategy, you need to host your website in other big hosting sites. I suggest you to use kiosk.ws to prevent crash free from huge traffic. But it is a bit costly for normal websites and blogs.
