This works, it’s tested simple and easy. You all can see in the settings of blogger that You always have at least one administrator. You can’t short this procedure. You will, of course, have to have both accounts active for some time. Don’t start this if you’ve lost the account name, or forgotten the password, on one of the accounts. But Plan this process with some care.

1. From Settings – Permissions, add a second account, as a blog member.
2. Starting with the email received by the second account, accept membership. Setup a new Google account, if necessary.
3. From Settings – Permissions again, make the new member an administrator.
4. From Settings – Permissions under the new administrator account, remove the old account.

>> (Note): If you’re doing this in preparation to switching your Blogger, GMail, or other email account, do not discontinue the current account until you have executed, and tested, step 3.

Remember, though, that you can only login to one Google account at a time. If you have other abilities setup on the current Google account, you’ll be constantly logging off and onto each account, as you switch back and forth.

If you’re just adding an administrator, not transferring ownership, just leave off step 4.

One major New Blogger shortcoming out of the way.
